The new offerings come as fast food chains across the country continue to roll out new strategies to entice customers and double down on lower cost options.

McDonald's USA Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Alyssa Buetikofer said the company has long been committed to delivering its customers affordable options.

"As our customers' expectations evolve, we're making it easier for them to get the value they're looking for -- on their terms," Buetikofer said in a statement included in Thursday's press release. "McValue offers more choice, more flexibility and more ways to build a meal that fits their day and budget."
