Trump signs order on foster care youth initiative with first lady Melania Trump
First lady Melania Trump and President Donald Trump held an executive order signing in the White House East Room on Thursday focused on expanding financial and educational opportunities for young people transitioning out of foster care. The "Fostering the Future" program outlined on Thursday is part of the first lady's "Be Best" initiative.

"I predict this small spark today will ignite a profound and lasting nationwide movement," Melania Trump said in remarks. "Our united to resolve will foster a thriving future filled with compassion and innovation. Together, we will illuminate the pathway for today's foster children to become tomorrow's builders. And tomorrow's builders will foster the future of America's legacy."
President Trump, outlining the initiative further, said "all of this has been made possible by Melania's incredible devotion to America's youth."
