Trump comments on Comey probe
President Donald Trump was asked about a potential criminal charge against former FBI Director James Comey.
The president claimed he didn't have any knowledge about the investigation but praised Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and newly appointed acting Attorney General of the Eastern District of Virginia Lindsey Halligan.

"They're going to make a determination. I'm not making that determination. I – I think I'd be allowed to get involved if I want, but I don't really choose to do so," he said.
Blanche and Halligan both served as Trump's private attorneys and Halligan was appointed last week after Erik Siebert resigned his position amid pressure from Trump administration officials to bring a criminal case against New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Trump went on to slam Comey who he called a "bad person" and a "sick person."
