President Donald Trump on Thursday called several Democratic veterans and national security specialists "traitors" who should face the death penalty for releasing a joint video in which they said that U.S. service members could refuse illegal orders.
This week, the House and Senate overwhelmingly approved a measure to force the Department of Justice to release all files related to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Trump signed the legislation on Wednesday night, starting the clock on the 30 days the DOJ has to release the documents.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman on Capitol Hill

His visit comes after Trump welcomed the crown prince to the White House on Tuesday, where he vigorously defended him and dismissed questions about journalist Jamal Khashoggi's murder in 2018.

Trump to speak at US-Saudi Investment Forum
President Donald Trump is scheduled on Wednesday to deliver remarks at a U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum being held in Washington, according to the White House.
Trump is expected to speak at the Kennedy Center at about noon ET, a day after the president hosted Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the Oval Office

The forum was designed to bring "together visionaries, leaders, and changemakers shaping the future of global investment," according to the organizers.

Calley Means, a key RFK Jr. ally, takes permanent position at HHS
Calley Means, a health entrepreneur and key figure in the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement, has been hired to a permanent position at the Department of Health and Human Services, a spokesman for the agency told ABC News.
Means, who helped broker Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of Trump last summer, was a special government employee at the White House and has been a consistent face of MAHA through television hits and social media posts.
Means is listed in the public HHS directory as a senior adviser in the Office of the Secretary.

He will support food and nutrition policy, HHS spokesman Andrew Nixon told ABC News.
Nixon said that Means would divest from his interest in Truemed, the wellness company he cofounded.
Means’ sister Casey Means is Trump’s nominee for surgeon general.

Elon Musk to return to White House Tuesday: Source
Elon Musk will be attending Tuesday night's dinner at the White House with the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, a source with knowledge of the plans told ABC News.
This will be the first time since May that Musk has officially been at the White House since he left the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and had a falling out with Trump.
Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays in the Saudi Pro League, will also be at the White House Tuesday, a White House official confirmed to ABC News.
