Trump admin weighing exceptions for some Chinese auto parts, sources say
The administration is considering possible exceptions for some Chinese auto parts, sources told ABC News.
While no final decision has been made, the administration is examining streamlining overlap between auto Section 232 tariffs and the steel, aluminum, and fentanyl tariffs.
"No final decisions have been made by the White House on any potential changes to the auto tariffs," White House spokesperson Kush Desai said.
