3 killed, including officer, in Ohio shooting, sheriff says

Three people, including an officer, were killed in an Ohio shooting, during which the suspect was also killed, the local sheriff's office said on Sunday.

Officers responded at about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday evening to Rittman for a call for a disturbance with shots fired, Wayne County Sheriff Tom Ballinger told reporters in a press conference. 

"Officers responded to the area and immediately started taking fire," Ballinger said. "At this point in time, we have lost an officer in the line of duty and two other ones have been injured."
