Kanye West at court, says he's supporting Combs

The former Sean Combs girlfriend testifying under the pseudonym "Jane" told the court that in early December 2023, she saw something on Instagram – she didn’t say what – that she found triggering and she sent a screenshot of it to Combs.

“I’m crying. I’m so triggered by this,” read "Jane’s" text message, which the jury was shown. “Please stop drugging and using women for your fetish nights. Leave women alone who don’t want to do those nights with you. Hire prostitutes.”

Combs responded, “You trying to set me up? This is crazy. F----- crazy. You recording my phone calls?”

Prosecutor Maurene Comey asked "Jane," “Were you trying to set Sean up?”

"Absolutely not,” "Jane" testified.

In subsequent messages, "Jane" told Combs how she felt she had become “a sideshow and sex worker in my own relationship,” how she was “treated like ho,” and how she felt “sexually exploited.”

The jury saw Combs' response: “F--- you. Don’t ever text me again.”

"Jane" testified that Combs called her on FaceTime. “I remember he said ‘Charge me, charge me, charge me for your resentment. I don’t want any loose ends,’” she told the court.

As she told Combs about the trauma she alleged he inflicted, "Jane" testified, Combs allegedly threatened to release the videotapes of their “hotel nights” sexual encounters and show them to her child’s father.

“Very soon” after, according to her testimony, "Jane" reached out via text to Kristina Khorram, who was then Combs' chief of staff. The jury saw the messages.

“He just threatened me about my sex tapes that he has on two phones,” "Jane" texted Khorram. “I did what he asked me to do. Came up with a number. Now he’s threatening me and threatening to expose my tapes. These are sex tapes where I’m heavily drugged and doing things he asked me.”

When Cassie Ventura filed her 2023 civil lawsuit against Sean Combs, accusing him of sex trafficking and sexual assault, the former Combs girlfriend testifying under the pseudonym "Jane" told the court that she almost fainted.

“In fact, I think I did,” "Jane" testified.

“Why?” prosecutor Maurene Comey asked.

"Jane" began to sob. “Because there was three specific pages that bore a harrowing resemblance to what I was experiencing,” she testified. “These pages resembled my own experience.”

The jury saw screenshots that "Jane" took of three pages of Ventura's suit. “I was bewildered. I was just in shock,” "Jane" testified. “I just reacted like, I can’t believe I’m reading my own story.”

"Jane" told the court that she exchanged text messages with Combs about the lawsuit.

“I was just venting. I was in a complete state of shock messaging him, like, 'what is this?'" "Jane" testified.

In one of her messages to Combs, "Jane" wrote, “I feel like I’m reading my own sexual trauma.”

The jury also heard a recording of a phone call from Combs to "Jane" on Nov. 19, 2023, four days after Ventura’s lawsuit was filed. Federal prosecutors said the audio was taken from former Combs chief of staff Kristina Khorram’s phone after it was seized at the airport in Miami. "Jane" testified that she didn't know that the phone call was being recorded.

“This is when I need you to be there for me,” Combs is heard saying in the recording. “You know we did all that s--- together.”

"Jane" interrupted Combs. “Who’s there for me when I have these f----- up things in my head,” "Jane" is heard saying. “I’m feeling so manipulated. What do I do with that feeling? Who’s there for me?”

Combs said, “Let’s get through this together.”

"Jane" began to speak, telling Combs “it’s just crazy that I was saying all this…” when Combs interrupted, declaring “I don’t want to go down that road.”

The jury heard a second recording of a call Combs made to "Jane" 22 minutes later.

“I need your friendship right now,” Combs is heard saying. “I can’t even talk on the phone. Please don’t send no texts.”

Combs is heard imploring "Jane." “I need your friendship. I need you.”

"Jane" is heard starting to say, “That was so f----- up” when Combs interrupts.

“I just needed to tell you that I need your friendship,” Combs is heard saying. “You know you ain't got to worry about nothing else, you feel me?”

"Jane" testified that she believed Combs was referring to her rent, which he was paying.

The phone call ended with Combs asking "Jane" to “please pray for me. I need your friendship.”

The former Sean Combs girlfriend testifying under the pseudonym "Jane" told the court that there was a pattern to Combs’ behavior when he allegedly wanted to watch her have sex with other men, but she resisted.

“I would say that whenever he wanted me or wanted one of these nights, the love bombing and persistency would start,” "Jane" testified.

The jury saw a text message from Combs to Jane. “I want to see you. We don’t have to have sex,” the message said.

“You take the love out of us. You make it crystal clear exactly what you want me for,” "Jane" replied in a text message that was shown to the court. “You’re going to spend the day what love bombing me so you can get what you want. It’s not genuine. I’ve hit a mental and spiritual wall."

"Jane" followed up by texting, “I’m not trying to f--- strangers to fulfill your fetishes.”

Combs responded, “You got it all wrong.”

"Jane" wrote back, “You talk to me and treat me like a piece of animal anyone can f--- on.”

Combs replied, “You’re crazy.”

Prosecutor Maurene Comey asked Jane, “Had Sean called you crazy before?”

"Jane" testified that he had, “very often.”

Combs persisted over text. “When do I talk to you, crazy?” his message said.

"Jane" texted in reply, “You want to have me [perform oral sex] so you can jet off to an island with Gina or Yung,” apparently referring to Combs’ girlfriends Gina Huynh and Yung Miami. “Have me to do the dirty s--- in a hotel room.”

The jury saw a screenshot Combs sent to "Jane" hours later of a conversation between him and his doctor saying he needed surgery. The image was accompanied by a text from Combs that read, “I’m so stressed. Too much going on. On top of that I’m horny as f---. F---. SMH.”

"Jane" testified that she ended up in a hotel room having sex with three different male escorts.

“Who was the first entertainer?” Comey asked.

“Rico or Michael, whatever his name is,” "Jane" testified.

“Who was the second?” Comey asked.

“Paul,” "Jane" testified.

“Who was the third?” Comey asked.

“Anton,” "Jane" told the court.

In between the alleged sexual encounters with Paul and Anton, "Jane" testified that she vomited.

“I just remember Sean coming in the bathroom and I told him I had just thrown up and he just said, ‘Good, you’ll feel better now and let’s go outside,’” "Jane" testified.

"Jane" then had sex with Anton a second time, according to her testimony.

“At the end of that night how did you feel?” Comey asked.

“Absolutely terrible,” "Jane" testified in response.

After that night, "Jane" testified that she sent Combs a message asking for money to finish furnishing her home. She told the court that she had gone into debt buying furniture and testified that Combs had offered her “anything you need” during the "hotel night."

The jury heard Combs’ response in a voice note, which said in part, “I’m telling you leave me the f--- alone.”

The jury saw a later text in which Jane wrote, “Threatening me with the roof over my head ever since I f------ got here.”

By October 2023 "Jane" testified she needed a break.

Combs had texted her to “call someone” for a “hotel night,” telling her in a text, “You’re the only thing that’s going to put me at peace.”

"Jane" responded to the message, “I’m not an animal. I’m not a porn star. These experiences are desensitizing sex for me.”

"Jane" had seen Instagram posts of Combs with other women.

Prosecutor Maurene Comey asked, “What were you jealous of at this point in time?”

"Jane" answered, “I’m not really sure I was even jealous. I think I was really frustrated that there was more pressure on me, and more was asked of me than everyone else.”

She sent a follow-up text to Combs: “I’m not a porn star. I’m not an animal. I need a break. I don’t want to do anything. I’ve hit a wall,” the message said. “It’s been three years of me having to f--- strangers. I’m tired.”

Combs responded, “So we’re breaking up?”

Comey asked, “Had you been suggesting breaking up?”

"Jane" told the court that she had not. “I had been saying I wanted to stop all of it,” Jane testified. “Having sex with other men.”

"Jane" began to tear up and wail into the microphone as she read a subsequent text.

“My spirit and my soul is tired. I need a break,” the message said. “I can’t be used like this anymore. I wanted to make you happy but it’s creating a war inside me.”
