Prince William makes surprise appearance on Travis, Jason Kelce's 'New Heights' podcast

Prince William joined Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce for a surprise interview on their "New Heights" podcast Friday.

The trio recalled meeting each other in 2024 when William and his two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, attended Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in London, during which Travis Kelce made a surprise appearance onstage.

Swift later posted a photo on social media of herself and Travis Kelce with William, George and Charlotte backstage at Wembley Stadium on the night of the show.

"That was honestly one of the coolest moments ever was meeting you and the little ones that day," Travis Kelce told the prince, adding, "We were so nervous to meet you guys and the royal family."

Jason Kelce also described the nerves he felt meeting members of Britain's royal family, adding that meeting 11-year-old Charlotte -- William's only daughter with his wife Princess Kate -- was a "highlight."

"Princess Charlotte was still the highlight for me," Jason Kelce said. "I have four daughters as well, so, I mean, she was great."

William replied to him in awe, saying, "Now congratulations. Having four daughters. I don't know how you do that."

The trio made no mention of Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship, even as the episode dropped on the same day that the NFL star and Swift are expected to host at least 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden in New York City for a wedding event.

The couple hosted another wedding event at the arena Thursday night for around 100 people, sources previously told ABC News.

Representatives for Swift or Travis Kelce -- who announced their engagement in August 2025 -- have not confirmed any details about the events.

At the start of the episode, Jason Kelce welcomed William, heir to the British throne, with his usual shout-out introduction for podcast guests, saying, "Our guest today is the 6-foot-3 prince from London, England."

"That's right. The president of the English Football Association, the Vice Royal Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, the Duke of Cambridge, the Duke of Cornwall, the Lord of the Isles, Prince and Great Steward of Scotland, Earl of Chester, and the Prince of Wales," he continued, according to a teaser of the interview shared on social media Friday morning.

Reacting to the introduction, a smiling William responded, "That is quite the intro, guys. Amazing."

William and the Kelce brothers spent much of the episode discussing soccer and the 2026 FIFA World Cup underway currently in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

William, a devoted soccer fan, indicated he hopes to attend the World Cup final on July 19 in New Jersey if England makes it that far.

"See you both there for the final," he told the Kelces.

England plays next against Mexico in the Round of 16 on Sunday in Mexico City.
