Meet Little Leaf, the adorable pygmy goat who has traveled to 41 states and counting
Little Leaf has been traveling the country for the past 6 years, her owner said.
Some goats only dream of greener pastures, but one has found them in 41 states and counting.
Little Leaf, an American pygmy goat, has been traveling the country with her owner Kate Cloud for the past 6 years, hiking mountains, sailing ships and riding hot air balloons together.
Cloud told ABC News' Danny New that she first came into possession of Little Leaf in 2020, when she met her on a farm in Washington state where she was born.
She said that Little Leaf's mother rejected her because she was the runt of her litter, and veterinarians only gave her a 10% chance of survival due to her malnutrition at the time.
Cloud said she then nursed Little Leaf back to health, thus beginning their series of adventures across the country.
According to Cloud's YouTube channel where she documents the duo's many adventures, Little Leaf has hiked all over the country, gone to a rodeo, gone tubing and even distributed blankets to survivors from Hurricane Ian in Florida in 2022.
"She made so many people happy, we handed out over 800 wool blankets," Cloud said.
Little Leaf is often adorned in bows and outfits, per her Instagram.
"Life's too short, you never know," Cloud told ABC News. "So what not play with a goat?"
