Oscars 2025 recap: Biggest moments from the 97th Academy Awards

Ben Stiller took a moment to remember the late Gene Hackman on the 2025 Oscars red carpet Sunday night.

“He was someone I looked up to as one of the most authentic, real, charismatic and honest actors,” Stiller told ABC on the carpet, adding “He was a giant.”

The pair worked together on 2001’s “The Royal Tenenbaums.”

Hackman, 95, was mysteriously found dead in his Santa Fe, New Mexico, home last month alongside his wife and one of their dogs. There were no obvious signs of how they died and an investigation is currently underway.

Timothée Chalamet enjoyed a special night out at the Oscars with his mom.

The two were photographed walking hand in hand into the Dolby Theatre ahead of the show.

Best actor nominee Timothée Chalamet has arrived on the red carpet at the 2025 Oscars.

Chalamet, star of "A Complete Unknown," hit the carpet in an all-yellow suit before the show.

Chalamet's best actor nod comes by way of his performance playing cultural icon Bob Dylan in the biopic covering the musician's early years.

"A Complete Unknown" is nominated for eight total awards tonight.

Oscar nominees Demi Moore and Zoe Saldaña turned heads with their red carpet looks.

Moore, who is nominated tonight for best actress for "The Substance," stepped out in a sparkling silver gown.

Saldaña, who is nominated tonight for best supporting actress for "Emilia Pérez," walked the carpet in an off-the-shoulder burgundy dress.

Selena Gomez arrived on the carpet in a champagne colored gown, while BLACKPINK's Lisa, who is performing tonight, hit the carpet in a stunning tuxedo-inspired look.

Meanwhile, "A Complete Unknown" actress Elle Fanning wore a white gown with a black bow.
