Emmy Awards 2025 recap: The biggest winners and most memorable moments

Jeff Hiller won his first Emmy for outstanding supporting actor for a comedy series for his role in HBO’s “Somebody Somewhere.”

In his acceptance speech, he said the show was about “connecting and love in this time when compassion is seen as a weakness.”

“Thank you to my sweet husband and my family for never laughing at me,” Hiller said in his speech. “And most of all, thank you, [co-star] Bridget Everett. You changed my life and you told so many people to believe in themselves, and they do. Thank you."

"The Traitors" took home the award for best reality competition program, beating out fellow nominees including "The Amazing Race," "RuPaul's Drag Race," "Survivor" and "Top Chef."

Hannah Einbinder won her first Emmy for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series for her role in “Hacks.”

In Einbinder's acceptance speech, she thanked her co-star and fellow Emmy winner, Jean Smart, who she said “is like the sun and I just get to stand in her warmth.”

Einbinder concluded her speech by saying, “I just want to say -- go Birds and free Palestine.”

The other nominees in the category were: Liza Colón-Zayas, “The Bear”; Kathryn Hahn, “The Studio”; Janelle James, “Abbott Elementary”; Sheryl Lee Ralph, “Abbott Elementary”; and Jessica Williams, “Shrinking.”

Britt Lower won the Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for "Severance."

Nominees in the category included Kathy Bates for "Matlock," Sharon Horgan for "Bad Sisters," Bella Ramsey for "The Last of Us" and Keri Russell for "The Diplomat."

In her speech, she thanked the fans, the cast and crew on “Severance” and loved ones.

“Thank you to Helly R. for choosing me,” she said, referencing her character Helly on the hit show.
